Elder-led Congregationalism: A plurality of elders are elected and approved by the congregation according to the qualifications of 1 Timothy 3:1-7 and Titus 1:5-9. The elders are responsible for caring for the doctrine, direction, and discipline of the church. As the elders lead the church in these areas, all major decisions are presented by the elders to the congregation for approval.
