David and his wife, Laurie, began attending Faith Bible Church in 2010. Born and raised in the Washington, D.C. area, David has also lived in Iowa, Missouri, and Illinois, where he eventually met Laurie. By God's grace, they've now enjoyed 22 years of marriage.

David and Laurie find great joy in serving Christ in many capacities. They've been actively involved in a variety of leadership roles at Faith, including the Missions Commission, small groups, and a pastoral internship under the oversight of Pastor Bob. Additionally, they're faithful in community ministry frequently serving at MorningStar Mission. David is also a graduate of Moody Bible Institute.

The Wisdoms are outdoor enthusiasts who love vacationing that includes hiking, bicycling, and canoeing. They enjoy exercising and studying Scripture together. David's heart for Faith Bible Church is that every believer would continue to grow as an effective and winsome witness for Christ among his or her circle of friends, family, or acquaintances.
